Report wrongdoing safely. Anonymously if you wish.
Internal reporting system for employers and other obliged entities under the Czech Whistleblower Protection Act No. 171/2023 Coll. and the Slovak Act No. 54/2019 Coll. on the protection of whistleblowers. The system is operated by a law firm.
How it works
The reporter knows what happens and when. The company knows that the deadlines are watched by someone who answers for them.
- 1
Receipt
Form, e-mail, phone or a meeting in person. The reporter receives a code and an acknowledgement of receipt.
at once · within 7 days at the latest - 2

The competent person assesses the report and may ask for more information through the code.
within 30 / 90 days - 3
Outcome
Feedback to the reporter, proposed measures for the employer and overviews for management without the content of reports.
feedback + measures
A form designed for the phone
Reporters fill it in on a phone or a computer, with no registration and nothing to install.
- Every employer has its own form address and its own logo.
- Only the essentials at the top: anonymity and time limits. The information required by law is on the same page.
- No account and no e-mail: the reporter returns to the report with a code, adds to it and learns the outcome.
- In the language the reporter chooses: currently 6 languages (Czech, Slovak, English, German, Ukrainian, Polish). We add any other language your workforce needs on request.
Client zone
Reports, their category and status, the record of reports and messages to reporters are kept here. Management receives summary overviews only.
Why a reporting line
Petty corruption is common, and it is most often uncovered by insiders.
The figures are from 2012–2013. An update for 2026 is in preparation.
Price
Czech Republic, prices in CZK.
Monthly fee for each organisation by its number of employees on 1 January, excluding VAT. Under one contract, each organisation pays its own band.
Assessment beyond the scope included in the fee is charged at 1 500 CZK/h excluding VAT, always after prior notice. One framework contract has a limit of 2 500 000 CZK excluding VAT over 48 months for all organisations together (small-scale public contract).
Slovakia: price on request.
What you get
- Documentation within 24 hours of set-up: internal policy, information for employees, A4 poster, card with the form's QR code and the contracts for signature.
- Several organisations under one contract: a municipality, region or group signs one framework, and each organisation has its own system, its own form and a separate record.
What the Ethics Line provides
- A secure form available at all times, anonymously or with a name; reports by e-mail, by phone and in person are received and recorded.
- Acknowledgement of receipt and feedback on the outcome through the reporter's code, even if the reporter stays anonymous.
- Confidentiality: only the competent person knows the content of a report and the reporter's identity. Management receives summary overviews and proposed measures without data on the reporter.
- A record of reports as required by law.
- In the Czech Republic, a lawyer of the firm acts as the competent person. In Slovakia we receive and acknowledge reports; the responsible person stays with the employer, and for employers with fewer than 250 employees we also investigate.
- The form is available in 6 languages (Czech, Slovak, English, German, Ukrainian, Polish); we add other languages on request.
Who is responsible
The obliged entity entrusts the law firm with operating the internal reporting system; responsibility for meeting the statutory obligations remains with the obliged entity.
